A woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the incident
A man has been charged following an investigation into a stabbing in Wigan.
Officers were called to Ince Green Lane on Monday to reports of a stabbing. A woman was taken to hospital suffering from injuries consistent with being stabbed.
Jonathan Balmer (26/12/1988) of Ince Green Lane has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
He has been remanded into custody to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court today (Wednesday 12 February).
