He was also placed on the sex offenders register and handed a restraining order
A Bradford man who sexually assaulted two women whilst they slept has been jailed for seven years.
Callum Difiori, 26, of Institute Road, Bradford, was convicted of three counts of rape and one count of assault by penetration following a trial at Bradford Crown Court last September.
The offences relate to two women and took place between 2018 and 2021.
He was sentenced on Friday 7 February to a total of seven years behind bars and will be added to the sex offenders register. The judge also imposed a 10-year restraining order banning Difiori from contacting either of the women.
Detective Constable Louise Clayton from the Bradford District Safeguarding Unit said:
“I want to praise the victims for their immense bravery in coming forward to report the abuse they suffered.
“They have shown courage and strength throughout the criminal justice process and I hope they can now start to move forward with their lives knowing that Difiori is behind bars.
“I also want to urge anyone who has suffered any sexual offence, whether recent or not, to report it to the police.
“We will listen to you and we are committed to bringing offenders to justice so we can help create an environment where women and girls can feel safe.
“We have specially-trained officers who will help and support you throughout the process as we continue to pursue perpetrators of these crimes.”
