A teenager is set to stand trial later this year accused of performing sex act with a rocking horse and a tree branch at a local park in Hartlepool.

Callum Green, 18 of Hartlepool, made his first appearance at Teesside Magistrates Court on Monday charged with outraging public decency.

This relates to an alleged incident back in October last year at Burn Valley Gardens in Hartlepool.

The charge read out to the court states:

“You, in a public place committed an act outraging public decency by behaving in an indecent manner, namely inserting parts of a ‘rocking horse’ inside yourself whilst masturbating, then pulled a branch off a tree and penetrated yourself.”

Green pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The case was adjourned until June 6 at Teesside Magistrates’ Court for trial. Green was granted conditional bail, which included not to enter Burn Valley Gardens or any recreational play park in the Cleveland area.

No representations were made on his behalf by his legal team.
