The road has been closed since around 10pm on Friday
A road traffic collision has forced a main road in Blackburn to be closed in both directions on Friday night.
The collision is believed to have taken place on the A674 Preston Old Road and is closed in both directions from the junction with A6062 Livesey Branch Road and the euro garage.
It is currently unknown how many vehicles are involved or the seriousness of the incident at this time.
Posting on social media, Lancashire Police said:
“Please be aware that Preston Old Rd, Blackburn is currently closed in both directions between Livesey Branch Rd and the Euro Garage following a Road Traffic Collision.
Please find an alternative route where possible.”
