A man has been arrested outside a police station in Grimsby after being found in posession of two knives confirm Humberside Police.
A spokesperson for the force said on Wednesday afternoon that two off-duty Police officers spotted a man acting susicipusly outside the police station around 5:30am.
As the police officers were leaving the station after their shift, they approached the man who became evasive towards them. They subsequently carried out a search to discover the man to be in possession of two knives.
A 48-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife in a public place. He remains in police custody assisting with our enquiries.
