The road is expected to be closed for some time say Lancashire Police
A road closure is in place this evening in East Lancashire following a road traffic collision.
Craddock Road in Colne town centre is closed whilst emergency services deal with the collision with motorists asked to avoid the area where possible.
In a social media post, Lancashire Police said:
“We want to update you and let you know that Craddock Road, Colne from Colne Lane to Midgley Street is currently closed due to a road traffic collision.
“We anticipate that the road will be closed for some time, whilst we assess the situation.
In the meantime, we’d recommend looking for an alternative route and avoiding the area.
We’ll keep tabs on what’s happening and we’ll update you here once the road is open. As always, thank you for your patience and stay safe if you’re out and about today.
