A man suffered a serious head injury following the incident
A woman has been charged with various domestic violence offences, including threats to kill after a man was assaulted in Merseyside.
In a statement released today, Merseyside Police said:
“We can confirm that a woman has been charged with offences related to domestic abuse following an incident in Netherton.
On Friday 17 January, it was reported that a man had been assaulted inside a home and suffered a serious head injury.
Shireen McFadden, 35, of Fleetwoods Lane, in Netherton, has been charged with threats to kill, intentional strangulation, section 18 wounding with intent and aggravated burglary.
She is due to appear at Merseyside Domestic Violence Remand Court today, Wednesday 29 January.
