Police recieved reports of a sudden death and discovered the body of a man inside a caravan
A man aged 36 has been arrested following the discovery of a man’s body at a caravan park in Colne.
Officers from Lancashire Police were called to the Oakfield Lodge caravan park on Birchenlee Lane shortly after 7pm on Tuesday night to reports of a sudden death.
Sadly after gaining access to the caravan a body of a man aged 52 was discovered inside.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said:
“Police were called at 7.12pm yesterday (28th January) to Oakfield Lodge, Birchenlee Lane, Colne, to a report of a sudden death.
Our officers attended and gained entry to a caravan where a man was found unresponsive.
The man aged 52 was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is being treated as unexplained, and enquiries are continuing.
A 36-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is currently in custody.”
