Despite search efforts Dan is still missing and his family are desperate for answers
It was Saturday, the 10th of December 2022, when Daniel Hives was last seen leaving an address in City View, Sidings Close in Lancaster, close to the river Lune when he vanished without a trace.
Now more than two years later, the family of the 28-year-old at the time of his disappearance wants answers.
Despite search efforts by Dan’s family and friends, he still hasn’t been located.
Posting on the Join the search for Dan Hives Facebook page, Kat Hoy said:
“As always, Robbie and the friends of Daniel Hives are deeply thankful for your support in raising awareness about Daniel’s ongoing disappearance. Each share, each conversation, keeps the light of hope flickering in the darkness of uncertainty. Daniel Hives is missed more than words can convey.
It has been a troubling journey for Robbie, Daniel’s brother, as he grapples with an unthinkable reality – that his beloved brother is missing and may have come to serious harm. The silence surrounding Daniel’s case is deafening. There have been no sightings, no information that has brought closure or clarity; just an endless sea of unanswered questions.
The public discourse surrounding Daniel’s disappearance has been both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it raises awareness, but on the other, it continues to envelop Robbie and Daniel’s friends in a cloud of worry and unanswered questions. Some individuals know the truth about what has happened to Daniel, and as human beings, we must collectively ask ourselves: shouldn’t the truth be revealed?
