A man from Huddersfield has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after travelling the wrong way down a Blackpool street in the early hours of this morning.
In a social media post, Lancashire Police said:
“At around 2:20am this morning officers from our Specialist Operations team stopped a white Seat Ibiza driving the wrong way on Queen Street, Blackpool.
The driver, a 28 year old man from Huddersfield was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after blowing 57 at the roadside.
He is currently in custody.
