The collision involved two cars and a motorbike
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the collision on Friday night close to Barton Grange.
The collision involved two cars and a motorbike, forcing the road to be closed in both directions for a number of hours.
Motorists were advised to find alternative routes whilst emergency services dealt with the collision.
The road was reopened around midnight.
Lancashire Police have since confirmed it was a minor injury collision.
A spokesperson for the force said:
“It was a minor injury RTC involving two cars and a motorbike.
We were called about it at 7.16pm. The road was closed for a number of hours but has since re-opened.”
