Police are urging anyone who knows his whereabouts to contact them immediately
A manhunt is underway for a suspected rapist who failed to answer bail at the crown court in York.
In an appeal made today, North Yorkshire Police said:
“Have you seen wanted man, Kristian Franks, 34, from York?
Franks is wanted after failing to answer bail set by Crown Court in relation to a charge of rape.
Extensive enquiries have been carried out to locate him and we are now asking members of the public to report any sightings.
Please contact North Yorkshire Police if you have any information about his whereabouts.”
