A 15-year-old boy remains in police custody on suspicion of attempted murder

A 14-year-old boy remains in hospital in a serious condition after being found with a stab wound in Oldbury.

The incident was reported to officers in the early hours of Saturday morning.

In a statement released today, West Midlands Police said:

“We are investigating after a teenage boy was stabbed in Oldbury.

We were called to Brunel Road in the early hours of this morning (4 January) after a 14-year-old boy was found with a serious knife wound.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody while our enquiries continue.”
