Barnoldswick man in his 20s suffers serious head injury in Skipton assault

A man from Barnoldswick in East Lancashire remains in hospital after he suffered a serious head injury following an assault in Skipton, North Yorkshire, on Friday, 13th December 2024.

North Yorkshire Police have now released an image of a man they would like to identify in connection with the assault.

In an appeal made earlier, North Yorkshire Police said:

“As a follow-up to our previous appeal, we’ve issued a CCTV image of a man we need to speak to in connection with a violent incident outside the Black Horse pub on the High Street, Skipton, at around 11.30pm on Friday 13 December 2024.

A man aged in his 20s, from Barnoldswick, remains in hospital after suffering a serious head injury.

Two men have been arrested and released on bail while the investigation continues. They are a 55-year-old from Calderdale and a 30-year-old from Keighley.”
