Three shots fired at property in Little Hulton as police hunt offenders on motorbike

Detectives are investigating the discharge of a firearm that took place on Queen Street in Little Hulton on Friday afternoon, shortly before 6pm.

In a statement released, Greater Manchester Police said:

“A firearms discharge occurred on Queen Street in Little Hulton, Salford, at around 5.55pm yesterday evening (Friday 27 December 2024).

It is believed that three shots were discharged at a property on the street by an unknown offender/s on a motorbike.

Thankfully, no injuries have been reported. No arrests have been made at this stage.

A scene remains in place this morning whilst officers conduct further enquiries, and an investigation is underway.

Detectives are appealing to the public for information. If you know more about this incident or were in the area at the time and saw something suspicious, we urge you to come forward.

We are also particularly keen to speak to anyone who has doorbell, dashcam, or CCTV footage from the surrounding areas.”

Detective Inspector Justin Bryant from our Salford district said: “This incident will undoubtedly cause concern for those who live and work in the Little Hulton, and Salford as a whole.

“We strongly believe that this incident was targeted, with no wider threats to the public. Officers will be present in the area to reassure our local communities and are there to listen to any of your concerns.
