Car fires at Garstang commercial premises under investigation

Four vehicles were on fire at a commercial property in Garstang on Sunday night

Emergency services were called shortly after 8pm on Sunday night to a fore involving four cars.

The fire happened at a commercial property on Green Lane West in Garstang. Two fire engines from Fulwood and Lancaster attended the blaze. Firefighters used breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire.

LFRS confirmed that an investigation is underway to establish the cause of the fires.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said:

“At 20:06, two fire engines from Lancaster and Fulwood attended a fire involving four cars at a commercial property on Green Lane West in Garstang.

Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
