A woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries where she remains for treatment
Emergency services rushed to the scene of a collision in Blackpool in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The collision happened on Talbot Road, Blackpool, shortly before 4:30am. A woman was reportedly hit by a car and suffered serious injuries. She has been taken to hospital for treatment with police describing them as serious but not life-threatening.
A cordon remained in place for several hours whilst investigations into the cause of the collision took place.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said:
“We received a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a Toyota Prius on Talbot Road, Blackpool at 4:21am this morning (24th November).
A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries. Thankfully, they are not thought to be life threatening at this time.
