Driver suspected of being tired misjudged exit slip road nose dived car into ditch

Luckily the driver escaped unscathed following the collision

A driver suspected of being tired and misjudging the exit slip road ends up crashing the car into a ditch.

Miraculously, no injuries were sustained as a result.

The collision happened on the M6 at J33 on Tuesday night when the car left the carriageway and ended up nose diving into a ditch.

Officers have urged people to take extra care when driving and factor breaks into their journeys.

Posting on X Lancs Road Police said:

“Last night we attended this RTC at J33 on M6.

Thankfully, no injuries were sustained but this could’ve been very different.

It is suspected the driver was tired and misjudged the exit slip resulting in the scene you see here.

Please factor breaks into your journey”
