A woman in her 80s was targeted in the city centre earlier this month
A woman in her 80s had a large quantity of money stolen from her purse whilst shopping in the city centre.
This theft happened on the 5th November inside the Clinton’s Card shop on Fishergate around 12:30pm. An appeal has now been launched for help to track the woman in the cctv still who police would like to speak to in connection with the theft.
In an appeal made today, Lancashire Police said:
“Do you know this woman?
We want to speak to her after the theft of cash from a purse earlier this month.
The theft happened at about 12.30pm on November 5th when a woman in her 80s had a large quantity of cash stolen from her handbag in Clintons Cards, Fishergate.
If you recognise the person in the CCTV image please get in touch by calling 101 and quoting log 0869 of November 6th. You can also email 2843@lancashire.police.uk
