The man is alleged to have exposed himself to two separate women in York
Police have launched an appeal after a man exposed his buttocks on two separate incidents on a North Yorkshire Street.
In the first incident, a woman alleges the man exposed his buttocks before making inappropriate comments towards her. In the second incident, a woman alleged a man exposed his buttocks before spanking himself whilst riding a bike.
Detectives are linking both incidents and have made an appeal.
In a statement released on Wednesday, North Yorkshire Police said:
“We’re investigating two incidents that involved a man exposing his buttocks in York.
The first incident happened in Emerald Street in the Groves at around 6.35pm yesterday (Tuesday, 12 November).
A woman saw a man exposing his buttocks in an alleyway leading to Amber Court and he made inappropriate comments towards her.
A similar incident was reported in Scarborough Terrace, Bootham at around 7.05pm yesterday.
A man on a bike cycled past a woman exposing his bottom and spanking himself. He was heading in the direction of Burton Stone Lane.
The suspect in both incidents is described as white, aged approximately 40, of a large build and was wearing a dark top and baggy trousers.
