He is set to appear before Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday afternoon
Axel Muganwa Rudakubana, the now 18-year-old, accused of murder and attempted murder is set to appear in court for a plea and directions hearing.
Rudakubana will appear at Liverpool Crown Court, where he stands accused of the murders of Alice Da Silva Aguiar, Elsie Dot, Bebe King, and the attempted murder of eight over children. He is also accused of attempting to murder two adults and possession of a bladed article in a public place during a Taylor Swift dance themed class at the Hart Space Community Hub in Hart Street, Southport, on Monday 29th July this year.

Further charges were laid against the defendant by the Crown Prosecution Service. These include an offence under the Biological Weapons Act and a terrorism offence. This comes after ricin was discovered along with a pdf file containing an Al-Qaeda Training Manual following a search of his home address in Old Smithy Close, Banks, Lancashire.
Rudakubana will appear via video link from Belmarsh prison where he is being held on remand.
A provisional trial date has been set for January 2025.
