A Man Has Been Identified Following Appeal Into Alleged Sexual Assault On Accrington Bus

A man wanted in connection with an alleged sexual assault on board an Accrington bus has been identified.

Following an appeal made today, Lancashire Police confirmed a male has now been identified and will be spoken to in due course.

In an update posted today, Lancashire Police said:

“Earlier today we asked for your help in identifying a man who we wanted to speak to in connection with our investigation into a sexual assault on a teenage girl during a bus journey.

To update you, the man has now been identified and will be interviewed in due course.
