Firefighters spent four hours at the scene of the fire on Monday morning
Emergency services attended the scene of a building fire in Blackpool on Monday morning.
Four fire engines from starions across the Fylde Coast were dispatched to the fire shortly before 10am on King Street in the resort.
Breathing apparatus and a dry powder extinguisher along with a pressure ventilation unit wad used to tackle the blaze with crews spending around four hours at the scene.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said:
“At 09:51 on 11 November 2024, four fire engines from Blackpool, Bispham and South Shore attended a building fire on King Street, Blackpool.
Fire crews used two breathing apparatus, one dry powder extinguisher and a positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.
Crews were in attendance for over four hours.
