Domestic Property Fire In Euxton Involved Small Amount Of Clothes

Emergency services rushed to the scene in Euxton on Monday afternoon.

The fire happened at a domestic property on Princess Way in Euxton shortly after 2pm and is believed to have started in a bedroom and involved a small amount of clothing.

Firefighters from Chorley attended the incident, wearing breathing apparatus, and spent around an hour using one hose reel to extinguish the fire.

No reports of any injuries.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said:

At 14:17 on 11 November 2024, two fire engines from Chorley attended an incident on Princess Way, Euxton.

The fire involved a small amount of clothing in the bedroom of a domestic property.

Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel and one positive pressure fan to extinguish the fire.

Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.
