The cannabis has an estimated street value of £2.3M
Four men have been charged by officers investigating the discovery of a large sophisticated cannabis farm.
Officers came across the discovery in the former bingo hall Barney’s. The men will appear on court at a later date charged with the production of cannabis.
In an update, Lancashire Police said:
“Following on from our post about a cannabis grow at Barneys Bingo, Station Road, Fleetwood last week, we can now provide a further update.
A large, sophisticated operation was discovered in the premises with a total of 1300 plants, which were seized for destruction. The cannabis seized has an estimated street value of £2.3 million.
Four males were also arrested. Sokrat Tafa, 37 years old, Agim Met-Hasani, 41 years old, Olsi Ymerali 36 years old and Xhuliano Muka 27 years old, all of no fixed abode were later charged with production of cannabis and remanded in custody to appear before Lancashire Magistrates Court.”
