A man has since been discharged from hospital confirm Lancashire Police
A man was rushed to hospital overnight suffering from burn injuries following an explosion at a property in Preston.
Emergency services rushed to the residential address on Gillett Street in the Fishwick area of the city shortly after 10:30pm on Saturday night.

Investigators remained at the scene on Sunday morning.
Detectives could also be seen making door to door enquires.
A search operation to locate a dog trapped in the rubble was also underway with Lancashire Police later confirming that the dog had been rescued safe and well.
In a statement released today, Lancashire Police said:
“You might have seen some activity from the emergency services in the Fishwick area of Preston overnight, and we want to tell you why.
Our officers were called by the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service at 10.35pm yesterday to an address in Gillett Street, Preston, to a report of a gas explosion.

The emergency services attended, and it was found that significant damage had been caused to a house.
A man suffered burn injuries and was taken to hospital. He has now been discharged after treatment.
A small number of surrounding properties were evacuated.

A joint investigation will be launched in due course with our colleagues from the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and partner agencies to establish the cause and circumstances that led to the suspected gas explosion.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said:
“At 22:20, fire engines from Preston, Bamber Bridge, and Fulwood, along with the Urban Search and Rescue Team attended an explosion on Gillett Street, Preston.
Firefighters monitored the situation and worked with Cadent Gas to make the scene safe. One casualty was conveyed to hospital by North West Ambulance Service and firefighters were in attendance for several hours.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation.”
