Firefighters spent around twenty-five minutes extinguishing the fire
Emergency services were called to a fire at a domestic property on Friday night.
Two fire engines were dispatched to the fire after receiving reports shortly after 9pm on Martins Lane in the town.
Firefighters used one hose reel and breathing apparatus and spent around twenty-five minutes extinguishing the fire
No injuries were reported.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said:
“At 21:01, two fire engines from Skelmersdale were called to a house fire on Martins Lane in Skelmersdale.
Firefighters used one hose reel and two breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire, and positive pressure ventilation was used for smoke clearance.
Fire crews were on scene for twenty-five minutes.
