A 77-year-old man was found with a head injury and sadly died at the scene on Tuesday night
A man has been charged with murder following an investigation into the death of a 77-year-old man in Haydock.
Officers were called to an address on Clipsley Lane shortly after 10pm on Tuesday night. A 77-year-old man was found with a head injury and sadly died at the scene.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said:
“A man has been charged after a man was found dead in Haydock on Tuesday evening, 29 October.
At around 10.10pm officers received a report that a 77-year-old Alfred Langley was found dead and had a head injury inside a house on Clipsley Lane.
His family are being supported by specialist officers.
Peter Langley, 33 years, of Clipsley Lane has been charged with murder.
He will appear at South Sefton Magistrates Court today, Friday 1 November.
