Three males from Skelmersdale have been bailed following the arrests
Four men have been arrested following an investigation into an aggravated burglary that left the victim with a head injury in Nelson.
The incident happened on Monday afternoon around 5:30pm on Lomeshaye Road. Officers attended, and a man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Three males from Skelmersdale have been bailed whilst enquiries continue with a fourth man still remaining in custody for questioning on suspicion of aggravated burglary confirmed the force.
In a statement released today, Lancashire Police said:
“We want to bring you an update after an aggravated burglary on Monday evening in Nelson.
We received a report of an aggravated burglary on Lomeshaye Road in Nelson, at around 5:30pm.
A man was taken to hospital with a head injury.
A 36-year-old man, a 44-year-old man and a 22-year-old man all from Skelmersdale were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and have been bailed whilst our enquiries continue.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and remains in custody.
