Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible
A road closure is in place this morning due to a road traffic collision in Preston.
Mariners’ way near to mcdonalds in Preston is said to be closed, and motorists are advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes whilst Lancashire Police deal with the collision.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said:
“We are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on Riversway near to McDonalds. As a result Mariners Way and Riversway is currently closed.
Please avoid the area and follow any directions from officers at the scene. We will provide an update when we can.”
This is a damage only collision with no reported injuries confirm Lancashire Police.
