Tragedy As Baby Boy Dies After Being Found Unresponsive At Burnley Home

Tragic news coming in from East Lancashire this morning. A baby boy has sadly died after being found unresponsive at a property in Burnley earlier this week.

Emergency services rushed to the property on Moorland Road in Burnley shortly after 7am on Monday morning.

Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, the boy whose age and name have not been released sadly died a short time later in hospital.

Lancashire Police confirmed that the death is being treated as unexpected and inquiries are ongoing.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said:

“We were called by the North-West Ambulance Service at 7.31am Monday (October 21) to Moorland Road, Burnley, to a report that a baby was unresponsive.

Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, the baby was later pronounced deceased in hospital. Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this incredibly distressing time.

The boy’s death is currently being treated as unexpected and our inquiries are ongoing.
