32-year-old Man From Padiham Arrested On Suspicion Of Burglaries

A man has been arrested on suspicion of two burglaries following an investigation by Lancashire Police.

In a social media update, Lancashire Police said:

“We have arrested a man in connection with two burglaries in Padiham.

On 22nd October 2024, we were called to a report of a burglary on Milton Street, Padiham, where it was reported that a man had entered a property and attempted to take a PlayStation 5 console. Shortly after we received this report, we received another report of a burglary on Ruskin Avenue, where it was reported that a set of house keys had been taken from inside the property.

Following enquiries, a 32-year-old man from Padiham was arrested on suspicion of burglary and he is currently being questioned.

Operation Defender is a force-wide campaign that aims to combat residential burglary with support from Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw.”
