19-year-old Man Critical Following Bamber Bridge Collision

Police have launched an appeal following a collision that has left a 19-year-old man in a critical condition.

In an appeal made today, Lancashire Police said:

“We are appealing for information and footage after a collision left a man with serious injuries.

Emergency services were called at shortly after 1pm yesterday (Tuesday, October 22nd) after the collision on Tramway Lane, Bamber Bridge between a Nissan Cabstar and a Vauxhall Vivaro.

The driver of the Cabstar, a 19-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the Vivaro, a man in his 40s, and a teenager suffered minor injuries

Detective Sergeant Joseph Ghigi, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This collision has left a young man very poorly in hospital and my thoughts are with him and his loved ones at this time. I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this collision or who has any dashcam or mobile footage, to get in touch.”
