Murder Investigation Launched After Man Stabbed In Bradford

A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital with stab wounds but was sadly pronounced deceased

Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a man died following a stabbing in Bradford on Monday night.

In a statement released today, West Yorkshire Police said:

“Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a man was stabbed on Barlow Street, Bradford.

Officers were called at 22.29 last night (21 October) by the ambulance service to reports a man was unconscious with stab wounds. 

A 23 year old man was taken to hospital where he was sadly pronounced dead. 

A number of scenes are on including Back Heath Terrace, Upper Rushton Road, Barlow Street, Barkerend Road, Harewood Street and Gladstone Street. 

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team are carrying out extensive enquiries. 

Local Neighbourhood Policing Patrols have been stepped up to provide reassurance.
