The fire started in the kitchen of a domestic property on Monday morning
Emergency services were called to a domestic property fire in Aughton on Monday morning.
Fire engines from Ormskirk and Skelmersdale attended the fire, which is believed to have started in the kitchen shortly before 7am on Ennerdale Drive.
Firefighters used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and a ventilation unit.
It is not believed that anyone was injured following the fire.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said,
“Two fire engines from Ormskirk and Skelmersdale attended a kitchen fire on Ennerdale Drive in Aughton.
Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.”
