The fire involved a skip on Avenham Place on Monday morning
Firefighters were called to a skip fire in Preston City Centre on Monday morning.
The fire that happened just before 10:30am saw firefighters spend two hours tackling the blaze on Avenham Place in the city centre.
Crews wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said:
“At 10:26 on the 21st October 2024, two fire engines from Preston attended a skip fire on Avenham Place, Preston.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel jet and a partner saw to extinguish the fire.
Crews were in attendance for two hours.
