Firefighters are currently in attendance at a house fire in Preston
Emergency services rushed to the scene of a domestic property fire in Preston this lunchtime.
The fire happened shortly after 12 noon on Geoffrey Street in the city.
Two fire engines from Preston and Longridge are in attendance. Fore crews wore breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
It is not known if anyone was injured following the fire at this time.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said:
At 12:34 on 21st October 2024, two fire engines from Preston and Longridge attended a domestic building fire on Geoffrey Street, Preston.
Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Crews remain in attendance.
