A search operation is underway in Grimsby this morning after two teenage boys were found unwell close to the River Freshney.
Emergency services were called shortly after 5am on Sunday morning.
It is not known if anyone else were in need of assistance therefore police have launched a search operation in the river as a precaution.
In a statement released today, Humberside Police said:
Enquiries are underway in Grimsby after two teenage boys were found unwell near to the River Freshney shortly after 5am this morning, Sunday 20 October.
A scene guard is currently in place to enable specialist officers and partner agencies to carry out searches in the area to establish if there are any other people that require assistance.
We urge anyone with information that may assist our investigations to please call us on 101 quoting log 94 of 20 October.
