The road is expected to be closed for some time say Lancashire Police
Emergency services are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision in Blackpool.
A road closure is in place this evening following a crash on Lytham Road in Blackpool.
All three emergency services are on scene and a number of road closures are in place.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area at this time and to find alternative routes. The road is expected to be closed for some time.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said:
“We are currently dealing with a road traffic accident on Lytham Road at the junction with Horncliffe Rd and St Lukes Rd, and the road is closed and will be for some time.
we will update you when the road is re-open, in the meantime you are advised to avoid the area and find an alternative route.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said:
“Two fire engines from St Anne’s and Fulwood attended a road traffic collision involving a bus and a car on Lytham Road in Blackpool.
Firefighters used spreading and cutting equipment to extricate one person who was treated by ambulance crews.
