A man in his 40s was rushed to hospital with serious injuries following the collision
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Thursday morning.
The collision happened on North Road in the city shortly after 10am.
A man in his 40s was taken to hospital for treatment with serious injuries confirm Lancashire Police.
Witnesses are now being sought by the force.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said,
“We were called at 10.12pm yesterday (17 October) to the junction of North Road and Lund Street, Preston, to a report of a road traffic collision.
Our officers attended and found that a car had been in collision with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
