The fire happened on Tuesday night in the Blackburn area
Firefighters rushed to the scene of a fire in Blackburn on Tuesday night.
Emergency Services attended a fire that is believed to have started in the garage of a property on Rothesay Road in the town shortly before 10pm.
Two vehicles were also damaged as a result of the fire, which spread to the rear of the property.
Fire engines from three stations across East Lancashire attended the blaze and spent around two hours tackling the fire.
We understand that no reports of any injuries were made and that residents were evacuated safely.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said:
“At 21:49, fire engines from Hyndburn, Blackburn, and Darwen attended a fire involving a garage and two vehicles, which spread to the rear of a property on Rothesay Road, Blackburn.
Firefighters used three hose reels, four breathing apparatus, lighting, and small tools to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for approximately two hours.”
