Appeal After Cyclist Left With Life-threatening Injuries Following Morecambe Collision

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and speak to them

A man is fighting for his life in hospital following a collision in Morecambe on Tuesday evening.

In an appeal made today, Lancashire Police said,

“We are appealing for witnesses and footage after a cyclist was left with life threatening injuries following a road traffic collision in Heaton-with-Oxcliffe, Morecambe.

Our officers were called to Downeyfield Road at 8pm on 15th October following reports a cyclist had come off his bicycle after a collision with a Mazda 2 Sport Nav.

The cyclist, a man in his 30s, has been taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. He remains in hospital at this time.
