Works are being carried out to repair the railway barriers on Bakerhouse Road
Repairs are being carried out on the railway barriers in Nelson today.
Lancashire Police have warned of road closures and have asked motorists to find alternative routes whilst repairs are carried out.
Bakerhouse Road in Nelson will be closed for several hours as a result.
In a statement released today, Lancashire Police said,
“Bakerhouse Rd in Nelson is currently closed whilst repairs are carried out on the railway barriers.
We anticipate the road being closed for 3-4 hours.
Please avoid the area and plan alternative routes. An update will be provided once open. Thank you.”
