The car was found to be carrying what is believed to be Class A drugs

Officers from West Lancs Taskforce have made an appeal for the driver of a vehicle that failed to stop in Skelmersdale to come forward.

The car was later abandoned in a muddy field after driving the wrongway down Digmoor Road. The driver and passenger then fled the scene.

In an appeal made on social media, Skelmersdale Police said,

“Hope all your weekends have been enjoyable and you are having a chilled Sunday.

Unfortunately, the driver of the vehicle pictured is not having a chilled Sunday. The vehicle has failed to stop for us tonight eventually driving dangerously against the flow of traffic on the wrong side of Digmoor Road.

It was abandoned on Brierfield, Skelmersdale and what is believed to be Class A drugs have been found inside. On this occasion , the driver and a passenger have managed to get away on foot before it was located.

We are really interested in speaking with the driver of this vehicle, we also suspect his 110s (Airmax 95s if you are not local) might be very muddy and need a few spins in the washing machine.
