Blackburn Man Charged With Interfering With Vehicles

Police were responding to reports a man was trying car door handles in Blackburn.

A man from Blackburn has been charged following reports of vehicles being interfered with in Blackburn.

Officers were called to Campbell Close on Tuesday and, following enquiries, arrested a 46-year-old man on suspicion of theft from motor vehicle.

In a statement released today, Lancashire Police said,

“We have charged a man following vehicle interferences in Blackburn.

On Tuesday 1st October 2024, we were called to reports of a man trying car door handles on Campbell Close in Blackburn.

Following enquiries, a 46-year-old man was arrested and questioned on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle.

Patrick Harris, 46, of Stansfield Street, Blackburn, has since been charged with interfering with a motor vehicle and has been remanded to custody. He will appear at Blackburn Magistrates Court on 2nd October 2024.
