A man in his 90s sadly died on the way to the hospital confirm Cumbria Police.
A man in his nineties has sadly died following a house fore in kendal on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services were called to the property on Westwood Avenue shortly before 7am.
Sadly, a man in his nineties who were rescued from the property died on the way to hospital confirm Cumbria Police.
A joint investigation is now underway, but at this point, there is not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
In a post made today, Cumbria Police said,
“Our officers responded alongside firefighters and ambulance staff following a fire at a property in Westwood Avenue, Kendal today ( September 24 ).
We were alerted to the incident at 6.55am.
A man, in his nineties, was taken from the property by firefighters. He was treated at the scene but was confirmed deceased while on the way to hospital.
Joint enquiries are underway involving police and the fire service.
There are no suspicious circumstances at this time.
