Firefighters Tackle Late Night Padiham Caravan Fire

Fire engines for Burnley and Padiham attended the blaze just after midnight.

Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service was called just after midnight on Saturday, 21st September, to a caravan fire on a residential street in Padiham.

The fire happened on Green Street in the town. Three fire engines from Burnley and Padiham attended the blaze and used two hose reels to extinguish the fire.

They were in attendance for just over an hour.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service said,

“At 00:11 on Saturday 21st September 2024, three fire engines from Burnley and Padiham attended a caravan fire on Green Street, Padiham.

Firefighters used one breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire.

Crews were engaged for approximately one hour and ten minutes.
