Blackburn Shoplifter Sent To Prison

Scott Chinnery pleaded guilty to offences of shoplifting at an hearing earlier this month.

A Blackburn shoplifter has been sent to prison following an appearance at Blackburn Magistrates Court, where he pleaded guilty to the offences.

In a post made today, Lancashire Police said,

“A man has been jailed after numerous shoplifting offences in Blackburn.

On 4th September 2024, officers from Blackburn Police, arrested a male following an investigation into several thefts that has taken place at various businesses across Blackburn.

On Thursday, 5th September, Scott Chinnery, 35, of no fixed address, appeared in court where he pleaded guilty to the charges and was jailed for 36 weeks.
