Three More Charged As Part Of East Lancashire Drug Supply Investigation

While three people have now been charged our work is very much ongoing, and we will continue to target those involved in drug supply in our communities, say Lancashire Police.

Three more suspects have been charged as apart of an investigation into drug supply in East Lancashire.

In a statement released on Friday, Lancashire Police said,

“Yesterday we told you about some arrests we had made as part of an ongoing investigation into the supply of Class A drugs in East Lancashire and we wanted to update you.

The three people arrested have now been charged and were all due to appear at Blackburn Magistrates’ Court this morning (Friday, September 13th)

They are:

Calley Banham (25/09/87) Grafton Street, Bacup. Charged with Conspiracy to Supply Class A drugs.
Tara Rawstron (09/03/97) Burnley Road East, Rossenfdale. Charged with Conspiracy to Supply Class A and B drugs.
David Cooper (15/02/67) Boothman Place, Nelson. Charged with Conspiracy to Supply Class A and B drugs.

DCI John Roy, of East CID, said: “While three people have now been charged our work is very much ongoing, and we will continue to target those involved in drug supply in our communities.

“I want to thank the community for their continued support and cooperation, and I hope that seeing these results encourages them to continue to report suspicious activity, either directly to the police or anonymously to Crimestoppers.”
