Police Appeal Following A59 Collision Involving Motorbike

The collision happened on the A59 this morning around 8am.

Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision this morning, Saturday 14th September.

The collision involving a motorbike happened this morning around 8am on the A59 at Barrow heading towards Clitheroe between the roundabout at the junction with Accrington Road A671 and the roundabout near McDonald’s.

A man in his 60s was taken to hosiptal in what police describe a serious but stable condition.

Posting on X this morning, Lancs Road Police said,

“Witnesses are sought following an RTC involving a motorcycle on the A59, this morning Saturday 14th September at approximately 0800hrs between the roundabout at the junction with Accrington Road A671 and the roundabout at McDonald’s in the general direction of Clitheroe.”
